Nein! Non! No!

Someone put up a huge sign on Philosophenweg saying ‘NEIN’ (no). It’s easily readible even from the other side of the river, the area in question.

Opposition is always a better motivation, and the no camp have emotion on their side (fear of change, love for tradition, pity for inhabitants and neighbours), while the yes camp argue in terms of economics.

So, I’m sure the no camp are going to take away a clear majority, but fail to reach the turnout necessary to make the referendum legally binding. In a previous case, this situation made the citiy council reverse their original decision to sell community homes.
