Good Friday

I was looking for something suitable for Good Friday, and I found this in my archive. It’s a detail from a Via Dolorosa on display in Jesuite church. “Jesus meets his sad mother”. Don’t ask me which station this is supposed to be…

The text caught my eye in the first place beacause grammatically, it’s wrong. It should read “seiner betrübten Mutter”. Leaving out the N is perfectly acceptable in our local dialect, though. You usually don’t expect dialect in church, do you?
