Funicular

The funicular has been carrying people up to the castle and beyond for more than a century. Over the time, it has become a tourist attraction almost in its own right. This is the interior of the shiny new cabins commuting on the lower half of the track between corn market, castle and Molkenkur restaurant. On the upper part, the shaky, creaky wood waggons keep on wobbling up to Königstuhl peak and back down. An experience not to be missed. Don’t worry, it’s safe.
